Back in the, "Good Old Days" (you know, like last year... prior to the meltdown) advertising budgets were fat and companies were willing to spend large amounts of cash for elaborate photo shoots. It was quite a party but the fact is those days may be gone forever. All one needs to do is look at the current state of stock photography. Web based companies like istockphoto, Shutterstock and Jupiterimages are selling photos for $1 or less in some cases. Even the big names like Getty and Corbis have had to reduce their rates to compete.

The business climate today demands that companies closely monitor their spending and strive to get the most bang for every buck. If you are a small business owner, art director /creative buyer looking to maximize the return on your advertising dollar I think I might be able to help. What I offer is the picture without the additional cost of the party.

In keeping with the low cost business model established for stock photography I now offer the following pricing. If it fits on a 24" x 18" x 14" (w/d/h) shooting table I will deliver a high quality, digital 35mm full frame, medium resolution (up to 4368 x 2912 - 12.8MP) image file optimized for print or online publication for as little as $20. If your needs require a higher resolution image (up to 5616 x 3744 - 21MP) the price is $35.

Advanced post processing is always available in the event the image needs to have some special effect applied. In the example to the left the the products were cutout from the original background and placed into an alternate background. The final image was used in a print ad that ran in the skin care publication Les Nouvelles Esthétiques.
