A photograph is a visual representation of a moment frozen in time.

It is a window into our past that we can look through and be filled with memories of a person, a place or an event. These memories and how they make us feel is what makes our photographs so special.

When one of our photos becomes damaged we experience a sense of loss not only for the actual print but also for the feelings that the print would evoke. In most cases it is impossible to go back to that moment and re-shoot the picture but with modern photo editing software it is possible to scan the damaged photo, convert it into a high resolution digital image and then repair the damage.
